In this wiki article, we will explore the possible troubleshooting methods to resolve issues faced during the installation/uninstallation of OpenPlant suits. While installing/uninstalling user is getting the following error message as, "Failed to install OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition with error code 0x80070643. Fatal error during installation".
Steps to Accomplish

- Once downloaded, double click on the setup & click on next as shown
- Click on the appropriate option according to the purpose. click on installing if you facing this error while install or click uninstalling if you are facing the error while uninstall as shown
- This will check for registry as shown
- Select an appropriate application in which you are facing the issue & click on Next as shown
- This will find & troubleshoot the actual registry issue automatically. See the attached image for reference
- Now, try to attempt to install/uninstall the application & this time it won't give the error message.
