Error message: "Datasource Authentication Type Is Not Supported"

Issue:

• Synchronization was not able to authenticate the connection owner and failed. 

Cause:

• The synchronization owner authentication method to ProjectWse is not supported by the Synchronization service. Synchronization service supports only Bentley IMS authentication.  

Solution:

• Contact your ProjectWise Administrator to change the ProjectWise user authentication method to Bentley IMS and associate a Windows account with a Bentey IMS Account.
