Change in data is the source of both value and risk in infrastructure workflows. Digital twins are most useful when they capture changes over time, both to track a historical record and to be useful in projecting future. 

Every change made to an iModel forms an iModel’s timeline maintained by iModelHub. In iModels Changes tab you can see the sequence of all immutable changes, capturing when and by whom the engineering data has been changed.

Every change has these properties:

• Description (optional) - description of a change. This should be set in application during synchronization process.
• User - who synchronized the change.
• Time - when change was synchronized.
• Application - which application was used to make a change.
