Documentation, rendering and digital fabrication are the steps in this example.
GenerativeComponents were used to generate a complex geometry from points in the space that were connected to build a mesh. The software was implemented in all the process from modeling, documenting (using the tools of rendering through Luxology and exporting drawings) and finally adding a thicken quality to the mesh to print it (file exported directly from GC as stl.).
This example its part of a new series of tutorials that try to explore a different quality of the software and open the door for new speculation of different uses and capabilities of GC as a design tool beyond parametrism.
This pice was created with the intentions of exploring a random surface pattern for the creation of an architectural element that could express a contemporary language of simetry.
