How to Associate WorkSet from a Custom WorkSpace to a CONNECT Project

Background

CONNECT Projects are the virtual projects that are available only in web-based environment. 

They allow the users to Manage Roles, control data, share data and does not occupy our storage space. CONNECT Projects also allow us to access Imodelhub and PlantSight portals. Where we can save views, aggregate data and build queries. 

But to be able to use these features the Project needs to be associated to the CONNECT Project. This wiki allows us to accomplish this exact requirement.

Steps to Accomplish

  1. The procedure to create a new CONNECT Project is present in the wiki link below.

  2. Launch OpenPlant Project Administrator CONNECT Edition.



  3. Browse to the Custom Project.



  4. Select the Bentley CONNECT Services Ribbon.



  5. Select Associate.



  6. The CONNECT Project Selection dialog will open.



  7. Select a project and click Associate.



  8. The WorkSet cap will turn green in color indicating successful association.
