Background
User wants to convert AutoPlant catalog to OpenPlant Catalog, using converted catalog user can create specs.
Steps to Accomplish
- Launch OpenPlant Specification Generator from OpenPlant Project Administrator or Desktop Icon.

- Select the desired WorkSet.

- Click on Tools tab and click on Exchange option to see an exchange dialog.

- In Exchange window, click on NEW and define a definition name let’s say AP to OP. Enter the source name which CATALOG needs to be selected and in Target where converted catalog needs to saved.


- After selecting Source and target path click on Add button and Create generic Query and in the next window search for Piping Component and hit OK.


- From top right-hand pane, click on Execute.
- Exchange process will start, upon finish inspect the converted mdb.

- After completion of exchange process, to verify results open the both the catalogs and look for class name.
NOTE: In AutoPlant Catalog, we can see the CLASS_NAME as AT_CLASSNAME and in OPENPLANT just CLASSNAME.
