Overview

This document shares the reason for missing bolts for Wafer Lug type Butterfly valve and also a way to resolve it.

Problem Description

1. In OOTB workset place a Valve with WLUG end preparation and place two flanges on each side.
2. Notice that bolts are not getting placed.
   
3. This is because OOTB mCS150 spec doesn’t have BOLT and MACHINE BOLT in spec, instead it only have STUD BOLT as seen below.
   
   
   

Steps to Resolve

1. Add new record entry for BOLT and MACHINE_BOLT as per the standard dimensions  in the spec for testing lets copy any existing record and rename its EC_CLASS_NAME as BOLT, MACHINE_BOLT.
   Also its description can be changed as per standard definitions.
   
   
   
2. Verify the results in the OPM.
