About BECS IMS Connector
The Bentley Identity Management Service (or Bentley IMS for short) is the web service (https://ims.bentley.com/) that manages the Bentley Cloud Services profiles (also called Bentley IMS accounts) that exist for the users in your organization, and also verifies the user's credentials when they sign into Bentley through the CONNECTION Center (https://connect.bentley.com/). Bentley IMS authentication lets users log in to a datasource using the credentials of their Bentley IMS account.
BECS IMS Connector enables to perform these operations:
- Get Saml token
- Get Organization Guid
- Get Ims Search Json

How to install BECS IMS Connector
BECS IMS Connector Prerequisites
BECS IMS Connector requires:
- BECS Server version 5.5 or higher
- BECS Visual Architect version 5.5 or higher
BECS IMS Connector Installation Procedure
The whole process will drive following steps:
- Installation of standard BECS package
- After installation (if standard package does not include BECS IMS Connector), it is necessary copy dll file ”Ace.Integrator.IMS.dll” to BECS installation path.
- After installation (if standard package does not include BECS IMS Connector), it is necessary copy dll file ”Ace.Integrator.IMS.dll” to BECS Visual Architect installation path (Architect\Extensions\Application).
- Product will be after Activation ready to use.
