Problem Description

In eB version 15.5.1 HF00341 Error message is received when uploading file (I’m sorry there was a problem performing the action ‘Upload ‘FILE NAME’’, an error occurred during th transfer. Error: Server Message: ‘The  signature of the uploaded file does match that sent by the client’ HTP Error:500’)

Reason

BUG in ActiveX  which is found in HF00341.

Steps to Resolve

Option 1 Using “eB Web Client Controls” from not hot fix version

  1. Uninstall “eB Web Client Controls” from client PC

  2. Install “eB Web Client Controls” from not HF00341

Option 2 Replacing ActiveX with previous version

  1. In Web Server Replace ActiveX with previous version. You can download it from here. Extract downloaded zip file and copy eB.Control.Web.cab file to your Virtual directory, Framework folder (C:\inetpub\wwwroot\site_name\Framework).

  2. Users who have previously downloaded the ActiveX might need to delete the files from their C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Fileslocation.

    • Please delete the files that begin with eB.Control.IEControl.*.  There are usually 3 of them.
    • They also might be located under C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files\CONFLICT folder. Don’t delete conflict folders without checking content as they might contain files which are not related to eB.
    • Next users will need to download ActiveX by enabling the controls in their IE browser. The following needs to be performed.
    1.  In your Internet Explorer window From Tools select Internet options.

    2.  Next select in ‘Security’ tab select the ‘Internet’ option and click on the ‘Custom level’ button.
    3. Next for ‘Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls select ‘Enable’ as shown below.
    4. Next for ‘Download signed ActiveX controls’ and ‘Download unsigned ActiveX controls’ select ‘Prompt’ option.

    5. Click ‘Ok’ and save the settings.
    6. Re-launch the browser, sign in to eB and allow the ActiveX to be downloaded when prompted.

NOTE: This issue will be fixed in 15.6.1 release
