There has been occurances the CLR types in a system wasn’t working for eB Core Server installation or Database Update. In those cases, Database Update Error occurred.
Referenced in the eBImplementation Guide (eBImplemetationGuide.pdf), when using SQL Server, the SQL Server CLR Types must installed on the eB Application Server computer, prior to installing eB Core Server.
If the CLR types is not matching the version of SQL server in use or if the SQL version supporting the data source been up upgrade, there may need multi-versions of the SQL CLR Types on the eB Application Server computer.
That is, if using SQL Server 2012, you must download and install the 2008 and 2012 versions of SQL Server CLR Types.
If using SQL Server 2014, you must download and install the 2008, 2012, and 2014 versions of SQL Server
CLR Types.
If there is a CLR Types version miss-match or versions are not install, the following error will result during the eB Database update.
To resolve the problem, install the CLR types version matching the SQL server version in use supporting the eB Data Source.
