Explanation
Faded Font Issue in DWGs
How to Avoid
This will explain how to resolve most issues with faded fonts while viewing DWGs.
This occurs with the following:
Brava Type: All Versions of Brava
File Type: DWG
First, download and install Autodesk DWG TrueView 2014. You can download this at the below link.

After installing the software, follow the below instructions.
1. Navigate to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\DWG TrueView\Fonts directory.
2. Copy and paste all SHX files into the DWG_Fonts folder for Brava.
a. Brava Desktop: C:\Program Files (x86)\IGC\Brava! Desktop\DWG_Fonts
b. Brava Enterprise: C:\Program Files (x86)\IGC\Brava!\Brava! Enterprise JobProcessor\DWG_Fonts
c. Brava Enterprise .NET: C:\Program Files (x86)\IGC\Brava! Enterprise .NET\JobProcessor\DWG_Fonts
3. Navigate to ftp://ftp2.infograph.com/DL/Miscellaneous/Drivers/DWG2DL.zip.
4. Copy the contents of the directory into the same Brava folder (not fonts).
5. Overwrite the currently existing files.
If Brava Enterprise is being used, restart Apache or Brava! Server service and delete the contents of the cache (displaylistcache for BESS, dlcache for BEN).
