Problem

Using an import or export spreadsheet, user receives the following error:
Runtime error ‘429’
ActiveX Componet can’t create object

Solution

The proxy is not automatically registered during installation.  To register it successfully in .Net 2.0, please do the following:

At the command prompt type cd C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727
Then type RegAsm.exe “C:\Program Files\Enterprise Informatics\eB\Shared\eb.service.proxy.dll” /tlb

To ensure Excel uses .Net 2.0 when executing macros, copy the excel.exe.config file in the same directory as your excel.exe program file.  You do not need this if Office 2007 is installed.  File is attached if required.
