Problem Description

Merged document fails to open with error message: The file xxx.docx cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents. Details: Unspecified error.

Reason 

This error is received when Content Controls object is created in table.

Steps to Resolve

1. Open Template file used for this merge. 
2. In word navigate to Developer tab
3. Enable Design Mode 
4. Click On Content Control object, cursor will appear on Content Control objects text field. 
5. Using cursor movement keys (arrow keys on keyboard) navigate cursor just in front of Content Control object. 
6. Add space symbol  (all table columns containing CC object should have a  space symbol in front of CC object )
