This 'Automation Action Def' cannot be modified because another one with the same unique identifier ('namespace id, name') already exists in this Namespace ('Global').

Explanation

I have a document class and I need a new automation. In director I open a document class, click on extended behavior and add new automation action. After pressing save button the Error message appears:

 

How to Avoid

Option 1 Try entering another name

Option 2 Delete Automation Action Definition

  1. Create an eQL search to provide a class path in order to locate where the Automation Action definition was defined for deletion in eB Director.  For example



  2. Then go to that class in the System Admin module of eB Director to locate and delete the Automation Action definition
