The eB services - Unable to load DLL 'Bentley.liclib.10.dll': The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect
This seems to be a generic problem caused by MS (triggered by installing KB3186539 . In addition, it could happen in other cases as well), We have notice other companies having similar posts about this and ended up crippling their products. In our case, it is causing our services not running with the following in the eventlog:
“System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.String]: Unable to load DLL 'Bentley.liclib.10.dll': The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B1) (Fault Detail is equal to Unable to load DLL 'Bentley.liclib.10.dll': The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Re-installing the following runtime (x64) version solved our problem as of this finding…
