Problem:

Getting error while Saving if you edit the Custom Attribute in the eB Web. “Error: Unable to Save data to the property Date of Handover” (Here Date of Handover is Custom Attribute)

Workaround:

The reason we are getting this error because in the Layout Editor the Custom Attribute Property has been selected in Edit Mode. By Default, the Attributes is selected and there is no need to select the custom attribute again. Please, refer the below screenshot, where ‘Attributes’ is already selected and there is no need to select custom attributes check box.

If you get above error, you must uncheck the Custom Attributes box and then Recycle the Default application pool.

After which you must be able to edit and save the Object.
