Problem Description : 

While uploading file in Web/Director user get below error - could not connect to the storage service or the service could not accept the request,

ensure that the storage services are started and accessible by the caller. Could not connect to storage module on Server.

Resolution : 

1) Make sure Storage services are running in SMC. If not restart services and try.

2) Make sure link connecting to server from client in Communities have domain name in that 

For eg: ServerName.DomainName.com

3) Make sure Root Access path given for storage is correct and user have read/write access to that location.

 - For testing try to create and save any file on that location to make sure path is accessible.
