- Enhanced FTR Configuration, for SQL Server-based communities
- SQL Server replaces Microsoft Indexing Server as the location to store indexed text

- Storage Wizard options have been consolidated:
- The option Recover local settings has been removed, as this is now done automatically
- The three "move" options have been combined into one option, Move a repository
- New repository options:
- Create Signatures
- Verify Signatures
- Replication Source
- Replication Destination
- New eB Mail Distribution Service property option: SMTP Timeout
- Security Enhancements
- You now need to log in when viewing any item under your community
- You only need to log in once per session; eB System Management Console retains the connection until you log out or close the application
- Ability to rename datasources and communities
- Licensing node removed from eB System Management Console, all licensing is now managed by SELECTserver
- eB Web
- Virtual Directory Configuration Options
- You can now enable logging for the virtual directory through new Tracing tab on the Edit Web dialog
- You can now control whether or not ActiveX is used for file-based operations, for Internet Explorer 10 or 11 users (Edit Web dialog > Options tab > Disable use of the eB ActiveX Control)
- User Interface Enhancements
- When use of ActiveX is disabled in eB Web, the HTML5 File API is used instead of ActiveX for file-based operations in Internet Explorer 10 or 11. For the user this just means steps to perform the same actions will be slightly different.
- When associating a document to another object, or adding documents to a folder, the wizard that lets you select documents now has an option to create a new document from a template and then add the new document. Previously the wizard only let you select from existing documents.
