Problem

I have set up the APM-SAP Interoperability and the SAP connection is tested successfully. However, the job for synchronizing APM assets with SAP Equipment and FLOC (Data Loader asset SAP equipment and Data Loader asset SAP functional location) fails to process the existing assets in APM. The error message says for example " Asset type '01580 does not exist and the asset type is set to false.'

An issue was found in the code which did not allow for SAP FLOC Interoperability dataloads to process when using the Technical Object Type mapping because the code was looking for the asset type mapping

Solution

This issue has been corrected in release 7.12 (VSTS #6806). The issue is hotfixed for release 7.10 in hotfix 7.10.0.208. Two additional issues with the SAP Interoperability FLOC dataload processing were also found and fixed in hotfix 7.10.0.208 (VSTS 37614 and 37619).
