Problem

PI tags defined on a collective in PI were not polling. The ODC Service provides an error log that states:

"Error svc-ivr-odc Ivara.ServiceProvider.ODC.CreationRuleBatchProcessor [55] Failed to connect to plugin [serveurpips::SERVER=HRNPI;UID=aaaaa;PWD=xxxxxx==;HOST=SERVEURPICVN1;PORT=5450;CT=10;OT=60;DOMAIN=;AU
THTYPE=0].  Make sure all required components are installed and configured correctly EXCEPTION OCCURRED:Exception Connection to PI Server OSIsoft.AFSDK has failed. Cannot change the PI Data Archive because it is defined by a collective."

Solution

A hotfix, APM 7.10.0.206 was compiled to address the issue. The permanent fix is planned for release 7.12. If you experience this issue in your environment please launch a service request for guidance on installing the hotfix.
