Problem:
Sometimes you may experience a problem while launching the APM smart client.
The client does not start even after clicking on the short cut that is created after installation.
Also, Event Viewer shows the below mentioned application error when you try to launch the smart client;
Solution:
In this case, please check the directory “%localappdata%\Ivara_Corporation” on the User’s PC.
Please check whether this directory contain a directory with the name of Ivara Production instance (e.g. production). If so, please make a copy of that directory at some other location for safety purposes. Then, delete that original directory with the name of Ivara Production instance and have the User launch the smart client again. The system will create the directory with the name of Ivara Production instance again when the User launches the smart client.
This resolves the issue and the smart client gets successfully launched.
