Problem Description

Upon upgrade from release 7.11 to 7.12.3, user noted that APM Checksheets Uploaded from Remote were not processing and disappearing from APM Remote Tablets.

Solution

A change to the download structure used within APM Remote now requires that APM Assets have an Asset Spec reference, otherwise it does not create all of the required data in the download package (one of the missing components is an invocation of the Process Checksheet method.

This issue was reported as a bug, VSTS 334081. It is scheduled for repair in release 7.12.4.

The workaround is to create blank Asset Specs in the remote download package. This is done by adding nodes to the Download Structure to include the Asset Specifications and Asset Specifications Electrical interface classes. You will need the aid of Bentley Services / Support to implement the workaround.
