Problem

When Gas cylinders (Containers) are created on the desktop application, they have site references which allow the same cylinder # (Container #) to be created at multiple sites. When downloaded to remote, the site ref is lost. Because the site reference is ignored from the Remote, APM Remote considers the Cylinders as duplicate objects and corrupts the download package.

Solution

This has been reported as a bug, VSTS#203253.

The workaround is to renumber the Containers such that all of their numbers are unique. It is suggested to prefix the Container numbers with 2 letter code representing the site to guarantee that the container will be unique..

This problem was resolved in 7.12.2.
