Overview
For most Bentley software applications, a Bentley Sales Colleague or Account Manager can provide an Evaluation License to test/demo a product before a full license is purchased. These licenses are good for the term set and not valid immediately following their expiration.
To activate this License Type please select the account's appropriate relationshipwith Bentley before proceeding.
New user activation (ProductActivation Server)
- If you are a new user or a current non-Select user, your Evaluation License will become available for use within a few hours of receiving your fulfillment notification.
- Please follow the Non-SELECT Activation Process to gain access to your new Evaluation License.
Current user (SELECTserver Online)
- If you are currently a SELECT user taking advantage of SELECTserver Online (a Bentley-hosted licensing server) your Evaluation License should update to your License File and become available for use within a few hours of receiving your fulfillment notification.

- If you do not see the additional License(s) within 24 hours, contact your Sales Representative
Current User (Deployed SELECTserver)
- If you are currently a SELECT user with a Locally Deployed SELECTserver your Evaluation License will be available following an update to your License File (Manually or Automatic) and become available for use upon receiving your fulfillment notification.
