Sectioning Tools

The Section Edit mode allows you to setup a newly created section or modify an existing section. It is called a mode as the entire application is dedicated to the setup of the selected section. The Task-based Tools Menu shows tools for editing the section. Each section displays a unique set of tools but all have the Back button, which is used to exit the mode. Basic navigation tools are available to allow you to move around the model to better set up your section.

Tools Menu

	Used to move the section. For horizontal and vertical planes, an arrow appears in the section plane that you can drag to adjust the location of the plane. For a box section, you can drag the arrow point up to change elevation or the other arrows move in the XY model plane.
	Used to resize the section. Only available for box sections. Arrows appear on each face of the cube to allow you to resize the box.
	Used to rotate the section. Dragging the arrows in the view allow you to rotate the vertical plane or box. This is not available for horizontal sections.
	Used to flip the direction of the section. This is only available for horizontal and vertical sections.

Opens the General Tools group where you can Rename or Delete the section.
