Overview

There are several different ways to toggle on and off the representation of components. One way is to use Display Levels. This is a tech note on how to do this using Compoment Sets.

Solution

  1. Open Bentley Navigator (High Security).
  2. In the Microstation Manager dialog, change the user to "examples" and the projecct to "AutoPLANT".
  3. Open the drawing: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bentley\WorkSpace\Projects\Examples\AutoPLANT\dwg\main.dwg
  4. Go to the menu: Utilities > Component Sets...

Note: You will see with the already created component sets, you would have to create selection expressions in order to use this.
  5. Right click on one of the rows and select "activate".
  6. Once it is activated, "uncheck" the column with a camera icon to hide it.
