The Measure Location tool shows the location of points in the model. It allows you to validate and verify locations in the model against the actual construction. You can find the Measure Location tool in the Measure Tools group from the Task-based Tools Menu.

Measuring Location

Select a point to measure by selecting any location in the model. A number appears identifying the point. The Measurement tab of the Properties zone in the bottom right shows the Model Coordinate, Latitude and Longitude, and Altitude for this point.

You can select additional points to measure by selecting another location. The Measurement tab shows the location of all the points, identified by their numbers.

Clear Measurement

To clear all the points, select the Clear Measurement option  the Tool Settings from the top edge. Once you exit the tool by selecting another tool in the Task-based Tools Menu, all the points are cleared.
