How can I model culverts in series with CulvertMaster? For example an expansion to an existing culvert that has a different size.
CulvertMaster currently does not model pipes / culverts in series, only in parallel. There are a few options to consider:
1) Perform two calculations, starting with the first culvert. Then, take the output (tailwater elevation if appropriate) of the first culvert and use that as the headwater elevation for the second culvert.
2) Model it as a single culvert, with roughly equivalent size
3) Consider which culvert would be the limiting factor (the bottleneck) and potentially only analyze that section.
4) Use a more in-depth modeling software such as StormCAD or CivilStorm.
