Problem

What is the difference between the "Flow (Outlet)" and "Flow (Total Out)" results fields for a pond?

[Problem ID#: 39296]

And

Why is the flow volume into the pond greater than the flow volume out of the pond if there is no infiltration?

Problem ID#: 39354

Solution

"Flow (Outlet)" is the flow out of the pond via pond outlets, not including infiltration.

"Flow (Total Out)" is the total flow leaving the pond, which includes infiltration.

[Solution ID#: 500000065904]

For second problem,

The likely reason for these results is related to the Output Increment in the Calculation Options (located in Compute Network dialog in PondPack Version 10). By changing this value to a lower increment, there is greater precision in the output shown in the results.
