How do you consider only a selection set of elements with Loadbuilder? For example to ensure loads are only assigned to certain pipes or nodes.
In the Standalone platform, choose the name of your selection set for the node/pipe layer. For example, "Junction\Selection set 1" in the water products or "Manhole\Selection Set 1" in the storm and sewer products.
If you are using WaterGEMS or SewerGEMS in the ArcGIS platform, you can only choose the feature class from the geodatabase, so you must use a workaround similar to the below. Or, open the model in Standalone, perform the LoadBuilder operation on the desired selection set, save the model, then reopen it in the ArcGIS platform.
1) Double click the selection set to select the elements
2) Right click the junction layer in the table of contents and choose Data > Export Data
3) For "Export," select "Selected features: and choose to use this layer's source data for the coordinate system
4) Choose a file/path and click OK
5) In LoadBuilder, select this shapefile for the node layer, instead of the junction feature class in the geodatabase. A similar process can be followed for pipe selection sets if using nearest pipe allocation.
