Problem
How are patterns imported and exported through the engineering libraries?
Solution
From the Patterns manager, highlight the pattern you want to export and click the Synchronize Options icon.
To export the pattern to the Engineering Library, click "Export to library". Click the New icon. You will see an option to create a library or add to an existing one. There are no default pattern libraries, so you may need to create one. If you do this, choose a name for the XML file and select Okay. Next, highlight the newly-created XML file and select Okay. The file will now be in the library.
If you now wish to import the pattern from the library from the Patterns manager, click the Synchronize Options icon and choose "Import from Library". Select the XML file and choose Select. The pattern will now appear in the patterns manager.
