Is it possible to set the design event throughout the day i.e. 24 hours, instead of just one particular time step?
Darwin designer analyzes the system at discrete time steps. It is not feasible to compute Darwin Designer for a full EPS run, throughout the day, as the solution space would be too large.
However, Darwin Designer can analyze at different specific times throughout your EPS, using the appropriate multiplier from demand patterns. For example you could analyze where are the net(cumulative) flows occur and at what time step. You may consider at least (maximum hour) and (minimum hour) to cover the peak flow situations and then compute the Darwin Designer for that time-step.
Results can be rechecked with the EPS run by exporting the best solution and check whether they are acceptable or not.
