How do I model a rectangular channel using the channel element in StormCAD, Civilstorm, or SewerGEMS?
The cross section element does not support the rectangular channel conduit catalog shape type.
There are two workarounds
1) Use the user defined cross section type set to "trapezoidal" making the right and left side slopes vertically parallel to each other.
2) Replace the channel element with a conduit element. The conduit element supports the section type of "rectangular channel" and "Box". For the ends of the conduits, you could use the Transition element.
