Problem

While validating the model, I am getting the user notification as below.

This rainfall method must be associated with either time-depth or time-intensity storm event.

Though I have set up either time-depth or time-intensity storm event in the storm events for the implicit solver, I am getting above user notification.

Solution

Please make sure that you have specified the correct storm event type in the global storm events tab. (Components>Global Storm Events). For the runoff methods with Implicit solver like – Unit Hydrograph, User defined hydrograph, ILSAX and Time-Area, the storm event should be of either time-depth or time-intensity storm event type.

If you have set up another type of storm event like User Defined IDF table, Hydro-35 etc.in the global storm events tab, you will get this user notification.
