Problem

When using the "plot in background" feature in the AutoCAD environment, why doesn't the plot show the correct pipe color and weight/thickness?

Solution

If you choose to plot in the background, then the dwg as last saved will be plotted. The normal plot command will plot what's in memory or what you currently see. Widths and colors are dynamic with the custom object model used by the OpenFlows product line. Therefore, you cannot plot these as background tasks, or you will simply get the skeletal view of the proxy element. You can either plot (not in background) or use the Save as AutoCAD command under the Project menu, and plot that DWG in the background.
