Problem
The language in the Chart Options dialog is in Chinese or Portuguese, even though the English version was installed.
Solution
For SewerGEMS 10.03.00.77 (Chinese) - this issue is resolved in version 10.03.00.78 and higher. You can download newer versions here: Downloading OpenFlows Software.
For WaterGEMS 24.00.00.26 (Portuguese) - this issue should be resolved in later versions (reference number 1458720). Use the link above to upgrade when available.
If you cannot upgrade, you can also edit the SewerGEMS.exe.config or WaterGEMS.exe.config file and remove the "culture" setting.
SewerGEMS.exe.config is found in the root of the installation folder, and in the "x64" subfolder.
WaterGEMS.exe.config is found in the root of the installation folder (the x86 subfolder was not impacted for the Portuguese issue in version 24.00.00.26)
You can edit this in Notepad or Wordpad. Note that you will need administrative rights to edit this file and save it.
Once opened, find the highlighted entries below and delete them.
After saving these files, open the model. Chart Options should then be in English.
