Problem

The flow arrows in ArcMap disappear after applying a color coding. How do I fix this?

Solution

1) Make sure the 'Auto Refresh' option is checked on the View menu

2) Apply the Renderer after you apply any color coding and or label to your layer. (see link below regarding the Renderer)

There has been an Enhancement logged for this feature, so that it persists without having to set it up last in the order. Reference # 1089825
