Problem

What is the difference between using the WaterGEMS or SewerGEMS for ArcGIS Pro or the WaterGEMS / SewerGEMS / HAMMER for ArcMap shortcut versus opening ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap normally?

Solution

When opening the versions of ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap integrated with an OpenFlows product, the products menus will be available. In ArcGIS Pro, the ribbon interface will include WaterGEMS related tables. In ArcMap, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, or HAMMER menu toolbars will be available. With ArcGIS Pro, a WaterGEMS or SewerGEMS license will be used when using the WaterGEMS for ArcGIS Pro or SewerGEMS for ArcGIS Pro shortcut. In ArcMap, the menus for WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, or HAMMER will be available in ArcMap standalone, but a OpenFlows license will only be used if a OpenFlows project is loaded.
