The following are the steps to select elements in a hydraulic model in the ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro platforms. The workflow below uses WaterGEMS as an example. In order to integrate with ArcGIS Pro, you will need WaterGEMS version 10.03.02.75 and SewerGEMS version 10.03.03.44.
WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS for ArcGIS Pro
In order to select hydraulic elements in WaterGEMS for ArcGIS Pro, select the Select button from either the WaterGEMS tab or the Water-Layout Tab. This will change the cursor and allow you to select the element from the drawing. To view the properties, you can double-click on the element and the Properties will open. If the WaterGEMS Properties grid is already open (from going to WaterGEMS > Properties or Water-View > Properties), the properties for the element you select will be displayed.
WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and HAMMER for ArcMap
In order for your element properties to appear you'll need to make sure you are double clicking on the elements in your drawing pane with the WaterGEMS arrow cursor. This arrow cursor is located on the WaterGEMs layout tool and is the first icon on the bar. You will need to first enter an Edit session using the Editor toolbar.
When accessing the properties during an editing session the properties window may flash the properties and then quickly disappear. If this happens, stop your edit session, start a new edit session and ensure that you select the WaterGEMS personal geodatabase file (.mdb) if the dialog appears asking you to pick what to edit.
