Changing the name of a field or table tab is generally not recommended. If you change the name you will probably have to change your report templates to match the new name. It is usually better to add a caption. The caption will then show in place of the name. This can be done in Input or in Data DesignProject Database. Changing the name of a field must be done in Data Design
Project Database.
Many table and field properties can only be modified in Data Design.
Go to the table/tab you wish to modify.
The properties dialog opens.
Enter a caption and click OK.
If you clone new projects from a data template remember to update your data template.
