Turn on error logging in gINT.

Background

In order to troubleshoot a problem, Technical Support may ask for an error log.

Steps to Accomplish

 

Right-click the gINT icon on the Desktop and
open Properties:

The target box will have something like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\gINT V8i\bin\gint8.exe"

At the end of the Target box, add a space then type:

/debug

 The Target box will now look like this:

     "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\gINT V8i\bin\gint8.exe" /debug

The space before “/debug” is crucial.

Click OK.

Launch gINT from the icon.  You will see a message similar to this:

Make a note of the path shown and click OK.

Do the steps need to create the error/problem.  Close any error messages.  Close gINT. 

Send the requested log to Technical Support.
