This video shows how to model an Encased Lens with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Modelling an Encased Lens is one of the more difficult problems in AutoCAD Civil 3D. There are limitations in AutoCAD 3D which do not allow surfaces to have repeated z values at one XY point.
To model an Encased Lens you will need to use a similar technique to repeated strata, using a secondary Geology Code to identify a second layer of the material.
This video will show these techniques in order to model an Encased Lens.
