How to Fix a Name Range Error

This error will happen when you open a sheet for KeyLAB if you have an error in the Name Ranges

After you click ok it will allow you to continue using the sheet.

If you wish to prevent this message popping up, you are able to do so by going to the Name Manager.

To proceed go to the Formulas tab across the top and select the Name Manager which is half way along the tool bar in Office 365.

In this menu you will need to scroll down until you see lines which have a #REF errors in the Refers To column.

You can delete these and the message will no longer appear. There could be more than one and they could be spread all along the list so go one by one until have cleared them all.

If your sheet is a grouped sheet remember to reset the group before doing this as you will not be able to delete one of the grouped lines without causing further errors.
