AGS Grouping and Stage Tests

Question

How do I create the AGS mapping for tests like PSD's using grouping?

Answer

In the AGS mapping for the test you can assign a group. This is only important for test like the PSD as they have multiple lines in the AGS for one test.

Process

To add the grouping go to the AGS mapping of the test you want to group. On the image below there is a number of groups which are on the sieve sizes for the PSD.

The group number tells KeyLAB what information to put on a new line for the same sample in the AGS file. In the PSD examples all the sieve sizes and the percentage passing values need to be on a separate line in the AGS as they all use the GRAT_PERP and the GRAT_SIZE headings.

Putting the sieve size and percentage passing for that sieve size in the same group (with a group number) will make put them on a separate line in the AGS.

Parents

The parent is the same as a group but these are done automatically as they are made up of list or staged cells.

In the AGS file it will split up the data up as if it was a group.
