How to order and open tests in KeyLAB.

Explanation

With the new feature of opening test in the order in which they appear in the test window this guide will explain how this works. This is related to KeyLAB version 2.6.0.66 and newer.

Process

Before this version when opening test sheets to enter data it would open in location and top depth order. Now you can order the test in the tests window in any order using either the column header or the filters using the search and the order will be maintained when opening the test sheets.

If you needed the locations alphabetical order you just click the locations ID at the column header. The same process applies if you want to open them in the due date you just select the column header for due date order. It will apply either the oldest date first for the newest date first.

You can also use the search feature at the bottom of the test window to filter the list.

This will also work when grouping on any of the options. Using a combination of column ordering filters and groups it should be possible to open tests in any order required.
