Exporting output to PDF format is very simple in gINT, and does not require the use of Adobe® Acrobat Writer — there is a PDF writer built into gINT Software (in gINT version 6 and higher). When you export output to a PDF, you can take advantage of the bookmark feature of a multi-page PDF file.
Bookmarks in PDF output from gINT make the PDF file very easy to use, especially for projects with thousands of boreholes. The reader can open the desired report pages from the bookmark “tree” rather than paging through to find them. In our example, if you want to look at the log of borehole B-13, it’s simple to click on its bookmark:

Meanwhile, the output images for other borehole logs reside in the same PDF file, and can be called up just as quickly using their bookmarks.
By Ctrl-clicking multiple bookmarks, then selecting Print Page(s) from the right mouse-click menu in the bookmark tree, you can print output for the selected bookmarks only. If any of the selected logs have multiple pages, the entire set of pages will be printed for each selected borehole.
Exporting output to PDF files in place of (or in addition to) printing is also simple in gINT output. You just define the path and name of the file, make some quick choices about output, and click an Export button.
To use the PDF bookmark option, a couple of easy choices in the Output screen are all you need:

After you click the export button, an Exporting progress dialog lets you know how far along the export has gone, and offers a Cancel option.

When the PDF export is complete, the bookmarks are built, and now you have a PDF file with bookmarks ready for your use.
