To get started we need to make sure we have the test definition for the test in XML format. Choose the test you’re going to create the script for with a blank test open the input sheet. In this case we are using the unconsolidated undrained triaxial sheet.

You need to select the export button from the results part of the KeyLAB event at the top (in the red box).

This will give an XML file of the test definition for the given test this will stall the property names for the test definition names required for creating a script in the following steps.

Cleaning

To clean this file and make sure it ready for creating the script all you need to do is scroll through to the section in the XML heading for (<readings>). You will need to remove everything within the readings group.

After this step, we are ready to start scripting data.
