Did you know that you can use a key-in to open up documents and applications?

% keyin - Used to start another Windows application

%calc - would open Calculator

You can use it also to open files from other applications from within MicroStation.

To do that, just add the path to the file after the % character

%c:\temp\test.doc - would open a file name "test.doc" in word.
