Workspace root
Although this was added in MicroStation J, it's worth mentioning again. If you prefer to define your workspace root in your MicroStation icon, use the -wr switch. Here's an example - if your workspace is residing in C:\MY_STUFF\ then change the icon target to read: C:\Program Files\Bentley\Program\MicroStation\ustation.exe -wrC:\MY_STUFF\
