Paste elements at same graphical location

If you like to copy/paste elements from one file to another, here's a cool tip to control the placement location:

By default MicroStation uses the center of the selected elements range when pasting elements via the system clipboard. To change this, select the element(s) you want to copy and snap, but don't accept the location you want to use as the insertion point. This point is known as the Ninja Point. No joke. :-)

Then select Edit > Copy or keyin CTRL+C.

Pop over to the over file and select Edit > Paste or keyin CTRL+V. The snap point from above is now the insertion point for your paste operation. As you can see in the clip below, using a common location such as the corner of a border, makes pasting elements at the same coordinates a simple task.

Thanks to Sean Forward for this tip.
